PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug and play billet distributors with Ignitor III® module offer the latest version of Pertronix's ignition modules. They include the patented Ignitor III® electronic ignition module and a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 polished billet housing. The Ignitor III® features adaptive dwell, which maintains peak energy throughout the entire rpm range, reduces misfires and improves engine performance. Peak current level is reached just prior to spark for maximum energy without the heat buildup and increased coil performance and module reliability. They adjust spark timing at higher rpm to compensate for the inherent electronic delay and increase energy for quicker, easier starting by sensing startup. The PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug and play billet distributors with Ignitor III® module have an integrated digital rev limiter with LED feedback for precise RPM setting and a memory safe function that stores settings eliminating unintended changes to the rev limit.

PerTronix Flame-Thrower plug and play billet distributors with Ignitor II® module are designed to provide maximum ignition performance and easy installation, all at a price that you can afford. They allow you to upgrade your outdated points or stock electronic distributor with a performance-proven unit. The distributors feature the patented Ignitor II® electronic ignition module and a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 polished billet housing. PerTronix electronics are compatible with any inductive ignition system coil, but high-rpm performance can be improved when they are used with the low-resistance (0.6 ohm) Flame-Thrower II coil. Their stand-alone design makes them plug-in units that require no additional ignition, but they are compatible with multi-spark CD ignition boxes for outstanding versatility. Optional R-Spec 6R calipers are a race version of 6S calipers; available for any Extreme+ system.
