They don't require an installation kit; however aftermarket off-road tuning and free-flowing exhaust are required. These drop-in replacement turbochargers have 63mm billet compressor wheels, a high-flow turbine wheel, and can support 650 rwhp. They provide spooling similar to stock and an operating range of 40 to 45 psi. aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers feature a bar and plate core design that outflows stock intercoolers by increasing heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the OEM. The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16 in. aluminum plates that incorporate seven Multi-Directional Vanes (MDV) throughout the intercooler. This aFe technology is used to direct hot air flow through the entire intercooler core, which allows for greater cooling. aFe BladeRunner GT Series intercoolers are100 percent TIG-welded by certified craftsmen for race-quality strength and durability. They are pressure tested at 200 psi.
