Trick Flow® PowerPort® 270 Max Wedge-style cylinder heads will significantly improve the power of your big block Mopar right out of the box. How? Well for starters, PowerPort® 270 heads are made from premium grade A356-T61 aluminum. That's important because it weighs a lot less than cast iron and is very strong. Trick Flow® engineers fixed the shortcomings of the factory head design by relocating the oil holes for the rocker shafts and optimizing the shape of the runners to increase flow velocity and add much needed strength to the shaft bosses. PowerPort® 270 heads also feature larger, raised Max Wedge-style intake runners that provide a straighter path to the valve for improved airflow. The runners are treated to Trick Flow's® signature high resolution CNC Competition Ported surface finish that guarantees proper dimensional accuracy with balanced flow from runner-to-runner for maximum power potential. Additional advantages of PowerPort® 270 heads include clearance for 3/8 in. pushrods, ductile iron valve seats, bronze alloy valve guides, and multi-angle valve seat machining on precision Serdi® equipment. Edelbrock Performer RPM Chrysler Gen III HEMI cylinder heads are bolt-on performance upgrades for Gen III HEMI engines. They are designed to fit with the stock intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover, rockers, spark plugs, and accessories, as well as Hellcat components. The cylinder heads have been machined to be used on either the driver or passenger side of the block. They are cast from A356 aluminum and are heat-treated to T6 specifications. Edelbrock Performer RPM Chrysler Gen III HEMI cylinder heads feature fully CNC-machined combustion chambers, along with CNC-profiled bowls and port entries/exits for improved airflow. They also feature more material in the deck and reinforced combustion chambers for increased cylinder pressures. The rocker bosses have been reinforced for improved stability and strength, and extra material has been added around the intake and exhaust ports to allow for porting in racing applications. Both the intake and exhaust port flanges have remained in the factory location for use with OEM components. The intake and exhaust valves have been tipped away from the bore wall to unshroud the larger valves, while maintaining factory geometry. The seat diameters have also been increased for improved heat transfer and durability over stock.
