Strange Pro Series II front disc brake kits are designed for spindle-mount wheels and feature 2-piece floating rotors. The floating rotors are made of proprietary steel and engineered to significantly improve resistance to warping and creep at high temperatures. The rotor hats are fully machined from strong, lightweight aluminum forgings, and the complete rotor design eliminates the need for bolts to attach rotor and hat. These lightweight, drag race-only brake kits also feature the Strange single piston caliper kit. The caliper kit employs a unique slider assembly built with internal bearings and precision-ground sliders to prevent the calipers from binding or sticking. The single-piston calipers utilize square pads that slide freely, which prolongs pad life. These Strange Pro Race steel front brake kits offer a tremendous weight savings over OEM brake components. The entire 4-piston brake kits, complete with bearings, hubs, rotors, pads, calipers, etc., weigh only 33.5 lbs. They are unsurpassed in detail, as is evident in the hub design. Each hub has one bolt circle. Instead of adding an additional bolt circle, Strange machined five large lightening holes to reduce rotating weight. The billet aluminum hub is further lightened by its scalloped design and fully machined billet aluminum hubcap.
