RRC has taken out all of the guess work and come up with these easy-to-install kits. All the tubing is pre-bent and notched for ease of installation. Rhodes Race Cars Lemons and Chumps roll cages are available in ERW mild steel, DOM, and chromoly. ERW mild steel is accepted by both sanctioning bodies, but DOM is very strongly recommended. Chromoly is generally NOT recommended for this type of racing. Check your sanctioning body's rules before you order! Note: Some minor trimming may be required during installation. All RRC cages are weld-in cages.

Rhodes Race Cars SCCA, NASA, and Drift roll cages are made specifically for hobbyists and for serious racers looking to compete in SCCA, NASA, or Formula D events. All road race cages feature a main hoop diagonal and dual door bars (can be made into dual X-bars). They are weld-in cages and feature notched tube ends (where applicable) for ease of installation. Roll cages are offered in these materials: * 1 5/8 in. O.D. 0.134 in. wall ERW mild steel tubing * 1 5/8 in. O.D. 0.120 in. wall DOM tubing * 1 5/8 in. O.D. 0.083 in. wall 4130 chromoly tubing DOM tubing is very strongly recommended; ERW cages will most likely NOT pass tech inspection for most classes. Chromoly is not recommended by most sanctioning bodies. Due to different requirements for specific classes and weights, you should check with your track or sanctioning body for specific guidelines prior to purchase. It is the installer's responsibility to assure that a cage meets race organization rules as to tubing material and sizes, fit, placement of components, and welding. Drag racers want their cars to be as safe as possible, and Competition Engineering 12-point roll bar main hoop kits offer superior strength and chassis rigidity for 360 degree driver protection. This design links the cage to the front frame, essentially making it one solid unit--you'll notice better control and vehicle reaction time. These packages furnish you with the main hoop, one top hoop, two front downstruts, one main hoop crossbrace, and two forward struts. This type of modification is required on most racing circuits for increased cabin safety and side impact security. The units require only minor modifications and welding for solid installation; they're tailored for specific types of cars, so check the applications for matching specs. Competition Engineering 12-pt roll bar main hoop kits require also ordering the appropriate strut kit if you desire a complete roll cage install. Both kits are available in mild steel and chromoly.
