The partner package for the 8-point roll bar main hoop kits, these Competition Engineering 8-point roll bar strut kits provide the support pieces to complete your safety cage. They include: two rear struts, two front door bars, main hoop cross brace, two diagonal hoop supports, six weld joint gussets, and eight 6.000 in. square x 0.134 in. (10 gauge) thick floor plates. Combining these parts with a main hoop kit gives you an 8-point roll cage—a modification required in most racing circuits for providing increased cabin safety and side impact protection. Competition Engineering 10-Point Roll Bar Strut Kits

Wrap yourself in even more cabin protection, these Competition Engineering 10-point roll bar strut kits are the partner package for the 10-point roll bar main hoop kits. They include the two rear struts, two front door bars, ten 6 in. x 6 in. x 1/8th in. mounting pads, and 12 joint gussets. These combined with the main hoop kit give you the surrounding protection of a 10-point roll cage. This type of modification is required in most circuits of racing to provide increased cabin safety, while also improving the vehicles side impact protection. Best installed with the interior removed, they do require a mild amount of fabrication to properly fit to your vehicles application. Common installation steps may involve trimming length to fit your desired interior design, and welding is definitely involved. Working with the interior taken out also makes it much easier to get proper fitment, and assure proper welds are achieved. These strut kits will require the appropriate main hoop kits to complete the cage install. Both the main hoops and the strut kits are available in mild steel and chromoly, so make sure you get the right material for your designed cockpit.
