TCI StreetFighter transmissions are durable enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines. Equipped with a manual/automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a race track shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off of your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, they retain positive automatic shifts for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.

All transmissions feature high performance clutches, a steel clutch hub, and a modified planetary gear set that will work with the latest rear suspensions. Many specialty combinations are available.

American Powertrain ProFit Tremec TKX manual transmissions and installation kits put the power to the pavement with unmatched durability and versatility. Tremec has normally sourced their aftermarket transmissions from the OE side, such as the Magnum T-56 and the T-5, but this new design is made from the ground up as a strictly aftermarket transmission. Designed to fit classic muscle cars and customs, the TKX has a tighter, more streamlined case, and features 600 lbs.-ft. of torque capacity and are capable of engines speeds of 8,000 rpm with shifts at 7,500 rpm.
