Advance Adapters offers 700R to TH350 tailshaft adapters designed for use when you're replacing a stock GM 700R transmission (which is 1.875 in. longer than the TH350). These aluminum adapter spacers, when used with a 6 in. tailhousing 2WD TH350 (15.5 in. O.A.L. output shaft length) should provide a direct replacement for the 700R4 transmission. The TH350 output shaft will require some trimming; however, this will allow you to install the TH350 without any driveshaft modifications.

Available in a choice of thicknesses, Advance Adapters Atlas transfer case spacers can be used to alleviate fitment issues caused by variations in transmission output shaft lengths. Many transmissions have positive "stick-outs" on their output shafts concerning the edge of the rear tail housing or adapter, which can cause a bottoming-out effect when installing an Atlas. Sometimes the output shaft can be trimmed back, but not always.
