For the spirited driver, a Barton Dodge Challenger shifter is a must-have. They're beefier, more solid units—from the throw-rod, all the way to where the shift knob or pistol grip starts. With their 44 percent throw reduction, you experience positive, notchy shifting, preventing missed gears or gear engagement. Full isolation of the handle from the shifter makes them quieter; and self-centering springs aid the yoke and linkage back into alignment with the selector rod. Barton has these shifters available in the full system with a variety of finishes/colors and knob or grip choices, as well as the shifter only for use with the OEM handle and knob.
