Too much line pressure can cause damage to various parts under the hood of your vehicle. TransGo vacuum bypass kits will run vacuum to the transmission, even set to full manual. Not doing so will put excessive strain on your pump, seals, and engine thrust bearing. Bypass units are for use on engines with a vacuum modulator that are supercharged or turbocharged—to prevent increased boost from causing runaway line pressure.

Great for transplants! TransGo Automatic transmission modulator conversion kits provide a more aggressive and tunable pressure boost curve with engine vacuum instead of the vehicle PCM controlling PCS/EPC solenoid. TransGo modulator conversion kits include everything needed to add the internal modulator system with the oil pan off the transmission. From the outside of the transmission, you will need to connect it to an intake manifold vacuum source, however hardware is not provided for this. The kits do come with an oil pan-based resistor to pacify the control module for the missing EPC solenoid in applications where the computer will still manage the gear changes. TransGo includes: * Pressure regulator valve spring and snap ring * Brass fitting * Vacuum modulator, pin, valve, and bushing * Hold-down bracket * Elbow vacuum hose and spring * Four short zip ties * Five long zip ties * Vacuum tee * Resistor

Input shafts need to have lots of stamina. ATS Diesel Performance billet shafts deliver the backbone your transmission requires to deal with added power, trailer weight, and bigger tires. Any of these mods can prove to be too much for your stock shaft, but not ATS. They're crafted from American-made material: vacuum-melted 300M chromoly steel. This super alloy is an ultra-high-strength metal which supports vastly more power than your original stock shaft. And they're not just strong, but they also have the ability to absorb more torsional load. This provides your transmission with more "give" and allows it to transmit more torque, as well as more load without breaking. Order the shaft model recommended for your transmission application.

Tremec introduces the Magnum-F 6-speed manual transmissions for fourth-generation Camaros and Firebirds. Designed to replace T-56 transmissions in 1998-2002 GM F-body cars, the Magnum-F leverages Tremec's pervasive TR-6060/Magnum architecture in order to provide fourth-gen enthusiasts significantly improved performance and relief from a shrinking pool of quality T-56 replacement parts. Born in the vacuum created by the release of the original T-56 Magnum (now known simply as 'Magnum') back in 2009, the Magnum-F fills a longstanding void in the overall Magnum line with regard to shifter locations—addressing not only LS1-powered '98-'02 F-bodies, but several other applications that utilize a similar shifter position. Beneficiaries include third-generation F-bodies, LT1-powered fourth-gens, LS-swapped late models of all varieties, and sport compact applications such as A80 Supras, FD RX-7s, and more! Where the original Magnum shifter locations may prove too far forward, and the extended length Magnum XL's too far back, the Magnum-F's in-between position often proves to be just right. Inside, the Magnum-F benefits from the same durable componentry found in many of today's hardest hitting OEM muscle and sports cars. Over the T-56, the Magnum-F transmissions boast increased face-width on all gears, a robust combination of double and triple cone synchronizers, enhanced webbing in the main case, provisions for a cooler circuit, and more! Tremec also took the opportunity to upgrade the shifter to an isolator-type unit, like that found on its Magnum XL. The shifter reduces in-cabin noise and vibrations, while at the same time providing the precise and communicative shift feel that all Magnums are known for. And, like all Tremec aftermarket transmissions, the Magnum-F is made from 100 percent brand-new OEM-quality content. Models with different gear ratios are available. Additional notes: * Close Ratio version for high performance street and road racing * 700 lbs.-ft. of torque capacity * Reasonably light at 135 lbs. dry * Multiple shifter locations and dual speedo pickups for unmatched versatility * Choice of two different gear ratio sets with unique double overdrive ratios * Incredibly short, extremely low-effort shift throws, with crisp, precise engagement * Modern OE supercar technology for the ultimate pro-tourers, road-racers, and more

Bowler Performance lock-up control modules come complete with everything needed to seamlessly control your torque converter lock-up. Converter lock-up will occur 8 to10 seconds after 4th gear engagement, allowing enough engine rpm gain before lock-up, giving your engine more performance and providing a better feel to lock-up. Bowler's lock-up modules only require one 2 amp fused 12 V wire to operate. No vacuum switch is necessary allowing these modules to function correctly with all types of engines, and there are no bulky boxes to hide or mount. The control modules have the GM 4-prong connector integrated onto the control board, and are epoxy coated to stay protected against the elements. Choose the kit designed for your transmission. Kits include: * Lock-up control module * Internal wiring harness with lock-up solenoid and mounting studs * Pressure switch * Pan gasket * New transmission filter * Case pass through connector * Brake light switch—standard that has a normally closed switch (for your lock-up module) and a normally open switch (for your brake lights). The brake switch does not have to be installed for the lock-up module to function, but will allow the driver to tap the brake to un-lock the converter at any time. If you are going up an incline and need a few more rpms to get up that hill, just tap the brake, and the lock-up will turn off and not re-engage for approximately 8 seconds. For those with a high-gear ratio and late down shifts who experience a chug of the motor due to the lock-up converter still being engaged; the switch will eliminate this concern.

The feed limit low valve in listed GM transmissions limits line pressure feed to the default disable solenoid and control valves. Feed limit low pressure is also connected to the boost ball system for "A" and "B" clutch control. This feed limit low valve is subject to significant side-load force, resulting in severe wear and pressure loss to the default disable solenoid and connected control valves. Such pressure loss can put the vehicle into default mode at high speeds, resulting in momentary wheel lockup, sudden downshift to 2nd gear, harsh shifts or a P0747 code. The feed limit low valve can wear out in as little as 30,000 miles, with many vehicles requiring service by 35,000 miles. A national recall from GM includes installing updated software that monitors valve performance and wear, then triggers a check engine light and reduced propulsion message 10,000 miles before failure. Vehicles are then limited to 5th gear, commonly referred to as limp mode, until the valve body is serviced to address the failed valve. Sonnax patented this drop-in feed limit low valve kit to overcome bore wear, restoring proper valve function immediately without the need or expense of replacing the entire valve body. The valve reroutes the balance circuit through an internal passage, significantly reducing the side-load force, while upgraded materials prevent future wear. * The kit overcomes drivability issues related to the GM 10-speed wheel lockup recall * Patented valve and sleeve combination overcomes bore wear and significantly reduces future side loading of the valve * Hardcoat anodized aluminum valve and wear-resistant sleeve combat premature wear * Drop-in Zip Valve parts install quickly and easily * Kit contents: -- Valve -- Sleeve -- Spring -- Retainer -- Drill -- Rivet (Note: The OE feed limit low valve is susceptible to premature wear and therefore a critical failure point. Replacing the valve is recommended even if the transmission isn't exhibiting problems and the valve passes a vacuum test.)

ATI Compu-Flow reverse manual valve bodies shift opposite of the OEM units, away from neutral when up-shifting (P-R-N-1-2-3). There is no automatic shifting. They will remain in the selected gear, allowing street-driven cars to move off in 2nd or 3rd gear in slippery conditions. The governor and related components are eliminated, as well as throttle pressure, cables/vacuum lines, and linkages. All units freewheel if you lift in low gear; there is no engine breaking. (Note--all turbo units freewheel in 2nd gear, except #353400 for the T-350.) These valves are not recommended for the Powerglide, since it must pass through low to get to neutral.
