XDR Magnum Grip Hill Killer gated shifters have an ergonomic design and a modern aggressive look. These gated shifters are designed to be used as a safety device when attempting steep hill climbs. This is accomplished by eliminating the reverse lockout feature of the ratchet gate plate—ensuring quick shifts from forward to reverse gear in an attempt to save the front-end from going over backwards when climbing steep hills. XDR Magnum Grip Hill Killer gated shifters are available to fit Side x Sides with or without factory shift boot. These gate plates are designed specifically to be a quick and easy change over intended for use as a safety device when attempting steep hill climbs. This is done by eliminating the reverse lock-out feature of the ratchet gate plate, ensuring quick shifts to reverse in an attempt to save the front end from going over backwards when climbing steep hills. The XDR gate plates are constructed of 304 stainless steel for durability and long life.
