These superior filters are designed to address the limitations of the standard "shorty filter". Inside the PPE double-deep spin-on filter is 2.72 times more filter media surface area. This increased surface area allows improved fluid flow and filtering. The double-deep filter traps particles down to 15 microns—that is half the size of what the standard spin-on filter catches, which helps to create a cleaner flow of oil to vital internal components, resulting in smooth, more responsive shifts. Pacific Performance Engineering offers transmission pan filters for a variety of cars and trucks, including many Jeep, Dodge, and Ram models from 2014 and up. These replacement filters are easy to swap out when you change the fluid in your 8HP70 transmission. The filters are designed to fit the following PPE heavy-duty aluminum transmission pans: 228053000 and 228153000.

New EBC CSK clutch springs prevent damage from prolonged exposure to heat and wear. They are OEM upgrades and are 10 percent stiffer than stock. The lever will be slightly stiffer which can wear your hand out riding in heavy traffic, but in return the clutch engages smoother and faster with the stiffer springs making takeoff smooth and shifting faster and less effort to speed shift.
