With all the most important content from the original Magnum, Tremec Magnum XL 6-speed transmissions retain brute strength and sophistication, but eliminate multiple shifter locations and dual speedo outputs. Each XL extended length tail section provides a rigid direct-mount shifter designed to eliminate the semi-remote shifter found in many popular late-model applications, delivering vastly improved performance and lightning quick shifts. Tremec Magnum XL transmissions not only offer shift performance and extended length, but they are also rated at 700 lb.-ft. of torque, support 7,800 rpm shifts, and are available in two gear ratio configurations. The Magnum XL was designed specifically to replace the OEM 5- or 6-speed transmission where performance improvements are desired. Simplifying the swap, they include an SFI-approved steel bellhousing, crossmember, trans mount, isolated shifter, and shift ball. They also reuse the OEM hydraulic clutch release system. Select the ideal gear ratio for your build.
