They start with 1/4 in. formed shell for the center section, and then attach 1/2 in. face plates. The housings finally connect the DOM axle tubes to the center section with their 3-point attachment system, giving the tubes superior support and engagement into the center section. Inner axle seal and seal housings are also included. Rock Assault 9 rear axle housings are designed for wheel mount surfaces—and are complete with flanges and unit bearing pockets, as well as inner housing seals. Trail-Gear Trail-Creeper dual transfer case adapters deliver quality at the right price. They have greatly increased the oiling flow in and around the adapter for cooler operation; plus, they have increased the strength of the casting with thicker walls and huge oversized gussets. Trail-Creeper adapters utilize a special retainer ring--not a light gauge snap ring--to securely stabilize the main bearing and prevent bearing play. These features, along with tighter tolerances on the coupler, ensure long life and prevent stripped gears.
