TCI trans-brake kits allow you to achieve maximum torque converter stall for quicker and more consistent reaction and 60 ft. times. They work like this: When the trans-brake is engaged, the vehicle can roll neither forward nor backward, and as you press on the accelerator, the engine can rev as high as the torque converter stall. Once the brake is released, power is immediately transferred to the rear tires, with less parts breakage than with a manual transmission.

TCI TCU 2.0 automatic transmission controllers are fully programmable with the included T-Com 2.0 laptop software. They feature Dual Tune Technology, so you can create and easily switch between two completely different shift modes--daily driving or performance. The ability to make infinite adjustments to shift points and line pressure provides for maximum performance from automatic electronic transmissions and they are paddle/button shifter compatible. TCI designed the controller to be compact with LED diagnostics and data logging functions. TCI 4L60E/4L65E bolt-together torque converters feature a triple-disc lock-up configuration and a bolt-together design that allows for easy disassembly. Removing the billet front provides access to the entire lock-up assembly, turbine, stator, and bearings for servicing or restalling for future vehicle modifications. To further enhance strength, TCI has included both a precision-ground billet impeller hub and billet front that is CNC-machined to reduce ballooning, while the billet turbine hub, billet lockup piston and billet clutch hub are pre-hardened. These patent-pending converters use a triple-disc lock-up clutch that utilizes woven carbon frictions designed to withstand the punishment of continuous slip lock-up control. The effective diameter of the clutch in conjunction with the triple-disc configuration provides for significantly higher torque capacity over the stock clutch. They work well with both big and small blocks, producing power between 4,500 and 7,000 rpm. The kits are available for TCI 6X 6-speed transmissions to attach the 6X to most applications.
