The harmonic balancer is press-fit onto the end of the crankshaft and held on by a single bolt. If you’re removing an old one or installing a new one, it’s very easy to get out of alignment and damage the threads, the crank, the balancer, or all three! Put down the pry bars and mallets and do the job right with harmonic balancer pullers and installation tools from Summit Racing Equipment. Shop by engine type or thread size, or, if you do a lot of engine work, grab a kit that adapts to a variety of engines.
