They have high-strength permanent magnets that provide about 100 lbs. of pull, and their on/off switch makes the bases easy to set up and use. Powerhouse bases also incorporate a fine adjustment, which is used to gently move the indicator into place. The heavy-duty model packs a whopping 175 lbs. of pull and features a double bar design for increased flexibility.
