This type of modification is required in most circuits of racing to provide increased cabin safety, while also improving the vehicles side impact protection. Best installed with the interior removed, they do require a mild amount of fabrication to properly fit to your vehicles application. Common installation steps may involve trimming length to fit your desired interior design, and welding definitely.
