As Simpson's lightest and most aerodynamic helmet, the SA2020 SD1 Series is a premium helmet with a host of features at a reasonable price. These helmets are tailored towards open wheel dirt track racing with no front vents to keep dirt and debris out and feature a front chin spoiler for stability in open cockpit cars. Helmet features include:

* Simpson's lightest helmet with new, aerodynamic design

* Available in composite and autoclave cured carbon fiber
* Composite models are available in different colors
* Removable cheek pads—sizes range from .75 in. to 1.375 in. to allow for a custom fit
* Removable top pad—sizes range from .25 in. to .625 in. to allow user to lift and lower the helmet
* Includes removable gel earcups
* Compatible with all Simpson communication kits (sold separately)
* Front chin spoiler for stability in open cockpit cars
* No front ventilation to keep dirt and debris out
* Top and rear vents for ventilation
* Optional rear spoiler for more stability
* Comes standard with anti-fog, anti-scratch visor (non-anti-fog clear visor available)
