The 1.4mm tip setup is a very universal tip size, ideal for use with base coats, clear coats, single stage, primers, and other light to medium and some heavier viscosity paint coating materials. The 1.8mm tip setup is ideal for use with primers, 2K primers surfacer, sealers, topcoats and other medium to high viscosity paint coatings. The 2.0mm tip setup is ideal for use with high build primers, 2K primer surfacers, sealers, and other high viscosity paint coatings.
