Turning the hand crank at a speed of 1-2 times per second for one minute will produce enough power for 10 minutes of light. Connect your smartphone with a standard USB cable and continue to crank the Clipray to charge your phone during a power outage. The charge provided by the Clipray is a pass-through design from the hand crank generator. Note: Smartphones and devices that have completely powered down due to loss of power will not meet the initiation charge requirements to be able to recharge/restart with the Clipray.
