These steering column kits are no different; with their three adjustable height settings, the columns can help narrow in on any driver's preferences. When paired with one of FFP's fully adjustable pedal assemblies, the installation is a truly bolt-on and go experience. Steering column kits are available for Mustang models from 1979 and up. Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns feature large tube diameters and compact shrouds to create a unique custom look. Available in a variety of styles, lengths, and shaft sizes, they come complete with a gearshift knob, billet dress up kit (tilt, turn signal lever, and hazard knob), GM wiring (4 1/4 in. connector), and removable 12-position linkage arm. The columns are manufactured from high-quality 304 grade stainless steel, will never rust, and are available in a variety of finishes—including a paintable mill finish, black powdercoated, spray chromed, or polished to a high luster. Mill finish columns are shipped chemically clean and can be painted to match or highlight an interior with only minor preparation. A combination neutral safety switch/back-up light (sold separately) must be ordered with the column, except for select models that include a switch. Select units include an integrated ignition key located at the 3 o'clock position, with no welded-on attachments or extra relays required. These columns are complete with a key assembly, wiring, and ignition switch. Columns are offered with or without illuminated gearshift indicators. Have an overdrive automatic transmission? No problem; order the optional gearshift indicator overdrive lens (sold separately). Flaming River tilt column shift steering columns are available in universal and vehicle-specific models.
