The Kirkey 81 Series aluminum road race seat and cover kits are designed for road racing, kit cars, and club racing. The 81 Series seats are a true road race design with built-in shoulder support and are MIG-welded from .100 in. and .190 in. thick 5052 grade aluminum. The aluminum extrusion around the seats perimeter provides extra strength and safety. Extra support at rib height provides support for high G force cornering but is designed to not interfere with shifting. The seats unique three-piece design allows for maximum vertical adjustment. Shoulder and back adjusts 2 1/2 in. vertically and head restraint adjusts an additional 3/4 in. vertically. The contoured high-density foam bottom provides inner thigh support.
