The pressure inside the intake manifold is an extremely important input to the engine control unit. Holley Sniper MAP sensors respond to changes in manifold pressures and relay the information to the ECU in the form of a voltage signal ranging from 1-5 volts. These replacement sensors will handle applications up to 25 lbs. of boost. Additional notes: * Utilizes stock attaching points * Sensor monitors manifold vacuum, varying output voltage to the ECU as a function of load placed on the engine—providing necessary data to control fuel enrichment

Standard Motor ABS speed sensors supply information regarding wheel movement to the ABS computer. They're often located at each wheel hub/rotor on 4-wheel disc systems. Alternatively, on rear drum applications, you'll usually find them mounted on the differential housing. Under braking, if wheel speeds are unequal, indicating wheel lockup, the computer modulates the anti-lock feature until the speeds are equal again. Replacement ABS speed sensors are available for hundreds of makes/models. Just match up your vehicle specs to order the correct unit.

Aeromotive VaporWorx fuel pressure sensors are exclusively for use with all VaporWorx PWM (Pulse Width Modification) kits that require a fuel pressure sensor. Efficient energy management is one of the main goals in the automotive industry, regulating actuators by (PWM), which is a widespread means of improving efficiency. PWM fuel pressure sensors are used to precisely control the speed of a fuel pump by rapidly turning the power on and off in varying durations, allowing the engine to receive the exact amount of fuel needed based on driving conditions. This ultimately improves fuel efficiency and reduces unnecessary wear on the pump by only running it at full power when required; essentially acting like a "throttle" for the fuel pump. Select the sensor for your application. Key points of PWM fuel pressure sensors: * Dynamic fuel pressure control—unlike traditional systems, PWM allows the fuel pressure to adjust rapidly depending on engine load, throttle position, and other factors, ensuring optimal fuel delivery at all times * Reduced power consumption—by only running the fuel pump at the necessary speed, PWM significantly reduces the power draw from the battery, improving fuel economy * Lower noise levels—operating the fuel pump at variable speeds with PWM helps minimize noise generated by the pump * Returnless fuel systems—PWM is often used in modern "returnless" fuel systems, where the excess fuel is not returned to the tank, simplifying fuel system design How it works: -- Signal from the ECU: The engine control unit (ECU) sends a PWM signal to the fuel pump controller, which determines the duty cycle (the ratio of "on" time to "off" time) based on engine conditions -- Pump speed control: The controller uses the PWM signal to rapidly switch the power to the fuel pump, effectively adjusting its speed -- Feedback loop: A fuel pressure sensor monitors the actual fuel pressure and sends this information back to the ECU, allowing for fine-tuning of the PWM signal to maintain desired pressure

MSD offers replacement wiring harnesses for the Power Grid Dual NTK wideband oxygen module—a dual channel air/fuel ratio (AFR) system designed to interface with the Power Grid (P/N 7730) to monitor and record the AFR of internal combustion engines. The oxygen sensor module is capable of measuring AFR as low as ? = 0.5 (7.35:1 gasoline AFR equivalent). The AFR range is configurable using the MSDView software in conjunction with the Power Grid Controller (P/N 7730). Excellent MSD range of the NTK sensor gives each unit the ability to accurately monitor AFR's even on alcohol cars. The MSD wideband oxygen sensor module also provides a 0.5-4.5 VDC analog output proportional to the AFR. This analog output can be sent to a gauge or a data acquisition system. A dual-color LED provides the system status at a glance. (To provide accurate backpressure compensated AFR readings on turbocharged applications, the addition of an Exhaust Pressure Module, part number 7767, is required.) MSD can provide a replacement main harness, sensor 1 harness, or sensor 2 harness for your application. Order the model needed to restore proper performance to your vehicle.
