Standard Motor Crankshaft Position Sensors

These Standard Motor Products replacement crankshaft position sensors are designed to send a signal to the ECM to determine engine rpm, crankshaft position, and engine misfire. They consist of a permanent magnet, yoke, and coil. The Standard Motor Products replacement crankshaft position sensors are mounted close to a tooth gear. As each tooth moves by the sensor, AC voltage pulses are inducted into the coil. Each tooth produces a pulse; as the gear rotates faster, there are more pulses produced. The ECM then determines the speed at which the component is revolving, based on the number of pulses. Therefore, the number of pulses in one second is the signal frequency. If you're experiencing crankshaft position sensor failure, try one of these Standard Motor Products replacement crankshaft position sensors.

Beck/Arnley Camshaft Position Sensors

How fast is your cam spinning and why is it important to know? Beck/Arnley camshaft position sensors enable you to accurately measure camshaft speed. This speed determines when your air/fuel mixture should be ignited in your engine cylinders and sends data from your camshaft to your engine management system to keep your vehicle running smoothly and more economically. When you need to replace your camshaft position sensors choose parts made right from Beck/Arnley.

Denso Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors

Denso air/fuel ratio sensors (A/F sensors) were developed to measure air-to-fuel ratios under a wider range of driving conditions than oxygen sensors. A/F sensors, also known as wide-band oxygen sensors, send information to the engine management computer to make adjustments based on driving conditions. Their wider range and variable adjustments allow engines to burn fuel more efficiently and produce fewer emissions. As A/F sensor technology has evolved, Denso has been there every step of the way. From the first thimble-type sensors to today's heated, quick-response sensors required to meet ever more stringent emissions regulations, Denso has supplied OEMs with quality components and continues to innovate. Denso helped to develop this important technology and you can rely on Denso First Time Fit A/F sensors. Features and benefits of Denso air/fuel ratio sensors include: * Tarnish-proof platinum electrode provides longer life and maintains accuracy * Quick-response planar zirconia element quickly detects oxygen concentration * Measures air/fuel ratios from approximately 12:1 to 19:1 * Increased performance by mapping air/fuel ratios throughout the RPM range * Lower emissions by optimizing the air/fuel mixture * Reduces fuel consumption and maximizes catalytic converter life * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time

Beck/Arnley Crankshaft Position Sensors

Has your vehicle ever mysteriously died on you, only to start up fine after emergency road service showed up--and then it happens again? Could be caused by malfunctioning crankshaft position sensors. Beck/Arnley sensors help to control many functions on your car, from ignition timing to power output to fuel efficiency, by relating crucial data to your vehicle's ECU. If your crankshaft position sensors become burnt or worn out, solve the "mystery" with new sensors from Beck/Arnley, for a life made easier by parts made right.

Standard Motor ABS Speed Sensors

Standard Motor ABS speed sensors supply information regarding wheel movement to the ABS computer. They're often located at each wheel hub/rotor on 4-wheel disc systems. Alternatively, on rear drum applications, you'll usually find them mounted on the differential housing. Under braking, if wheel speeds are unequal, indicating wheel lockup, the computer modulates the anti-lock feature until the speeds are equal again. Replacement ABS speed sensors are available for hundreds of makes/models. Just match up your vehicle specs to order the correct unit.

Standard Motor MAP Sensors

Standard Motor Products MAP sensors are direct, high-quality replacements for your vehicle's worn, damaged, or malfunctioning manifold absolute pressure sensor. These sensors accurately produce voltage or frequency as manifold pressure changes, and the computer uses this information to measure engine load so that the ignition timing can be advanced and retarded as needed. On engines with a speed density type of fuel injection, the MAP sensors also help the PCM estimate airflow. Malfunctioning MAP sensors can often cause problems such as an intermittent check engine light, hesitation when accelerating, elevated emissions, and poor engine performance. Keep your vehicle in top operating condition with Standard Motor Products MAP sensors.

Standard Motor Vehicle Speed Sensors

Replace your worn or malfunctioning vehicle speed sensor with one of these Standard Motor Products vehicle speed sensors. Depending upon a vehicle's equipment, the vehicle speed sensor commonly called a VSS may influence or control more systems than any other single sensor. Early-model vehicle speed sensors were just used to regulate the cruise control and control transmission shifts. Now, with OBD-II, vehicle speed is considered a part of the overall engine operating strategies, affecting both fuel delivery and ignition timing. The operations of the idle-air control valve and canister-purge cycle are regulated, in part, by the VSS. Automatic transmissions need VSS data to provide the best performance and mileage. Torque converter clutch operation is controlled by the VSS. In an electronically shifted transmission, VSS signals, instead of hydraulic pressure in the valve body, are used to determine shift points. Don't take chances with your vehicle's performance--insist on Standard Motor Products quality vehicle speed sensors.

Standard Motor Throttle Position Sensors

Standard Motor Products replacement throttle position sensors help you get maximum fuel efficiency and power from your engine. A properly operating accurate throttle position sensor is an essential component to helping your vehicle run flawlessly. The throttle position sensors transform the throttle position into output voltage and emit the voltage signal to your vehicle's computer. In addition, the sensors detect the opening and closing speed of the throttle valve and feed the voltage signal to the vehicle's computer. The computer receiving the signal from the throttle position sensor determines optimum engine operating conditions for idle control, fuel enrichment, and fuel cut. Replace your vehicle's worn or malfunctioning throttle position sensor with one of these reliable Standard Motor Products replacement TPS sensors.
