MSD Pro-Billet Street Distributors
MSD Pro-Billet Street distributors are a popular choice for those who desire race-proven performance for their street machine. A vacuum advance canister provides improved economy, and the proven MSD mechanical advance mechanism allows you to dial in a timing curve to fit your needs. As always, an advance kit of springs and stop bushings is included. The housing features an all-billet 6061-T6 aluminum design for accuracy to within .001 in. An oversized steel shaft is QPQ-coated for low friction, and rides in sealed ball bearings at the top and bottom of the distributor. Summit Racing™ Digital RTR Plus Billet Distributors
We've taken our original Ready-to-Run billet distributors and upped the ante with our Summit Racing™ Digital RTR (Ready-to-Run) Plus billet distributors. They now feature a digital module with a 7.5 amp rated dwell control circuit for maximum energy output. They deliver 400 volts and 125mJ of spark energy to the coil and upwards of 50,000 volts from the coil to the spark plugs. We've also added a single-stage rev limiter with a simple "tap to ground" process of the tachometer lead attached to the module to set the limiter. The tachometer dual purpose lead also produces a 25 percent duty cycle, square wave signal, so it can be used with multifunction tachometers and most popular aftermarket EFI systems. Another bonus feature of our digital technology is a fully automatic start retard. This built-in feature provides 4 degrees of timing retard during cranking and is fully dialed out by 300 rpm.
