AEM Mini Master Battery Management Systems
AEM Mini Master battery management systems are comprised of three components: 1. VCU 2. BMS-18 Mini Master 3. BMS-18 Satellite(s) The BMS is implemented as two different module types: the Mini Master and the Satellite. Each module is capable of measuring up to 18 cells and three temperatures (thermistors), but the Master also contains the CAN communication interface and J1772 charging specific connections needed for each battery pack. The VCU communicates with the BMS via the Mini Master module and all battery packs need at least one Mini Master unit. The Satellites expand the capability of the Master by an additional 18 cells and three thermistors per additional Satellite connected. The Satellite modules are connected to their Master via a high-speed serial interface (isoSPI) that allows additional units to be daisy chained together, adding as many Satellites as necessary for the battery pack configuration. The VCU is responsible for all BMS control logic. All setup and calibration items can be modified using the AEMCal user interface. XDR Off-Road Delta Boost Tuner Modules
The XDR Off-Road Delta Boost tuner modules are a simple way to gain up to four psi in boost pressure with an easy to install plug-and-play unit—which results in horsepower and torque gains throughout the useable rpm range to accelerate you past the competition. The modules simply install in-line with the boost sensor in the factory harness and is controlled by a downloadable Bluetooth app for both IOS and Android platforms. The app shows you real-time boost pressures and offers four different power settings; Valet mode, which is great when handing off the keys to a less experienced driver, Standard mode is the equivalent to stock boost setting, Sport mode gains up to three psi over the stock boost and Maximum mode gives you an added four psi over stock boost—so you can shred the trail. Modules are fully sealed from moisture and dirt and comes with rubber weatherproof capsule. Detailed installation instructions and apps are downloadable for a quick and easy installation.
