MSD digital 6A ignition controllers--great ignition systems get even better! And, now you can update your ride with the digital circuitry of these powerhouses. MSD lowered the profile for a sleek look and routed the wiring out one side of the unit through a sealed and locked connector for easy installation with a clean, neat look under your hood. More important is what's inside these digital 6A ignitions. Microprocessors, updated circuits and efficient components control every firing to help the ignition make more power with less current draw--each spark packs more than 135 millijoules of energy with up to 530 volts! Others strive where MSD succeeds; join the proven win-win of "fire to drive" with unmistakable, MSD technology at its best--digital 6A ignition controllers.

Summit Racing™ billet electronic Mopar distributors convert your old points ignition to a new modern electronic breaker-less system. Available as standalone units or in a complete kit, these distributors offer these benefits: improved timing and dwell control; higher energy at the spark plug for easier starting; improved throttle response; extended RPM range; and better efficiency, along with increased spark plug life. The distributor bodies are CNC-machined from forged 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum and come with a glass fiber reinforced (PBT) tan cap (which is patterned after the OEM dual point cap)—with extra internal voltage dams that help to prevent crossfire while resisting carbon tracking. The shafts are centerless ground and ride on both upper and lower sealed roller bearings for smooth operation at high RPM's and extended service life. The cap contacts and rotor blade are brass and the rotor spring is stainless steel, all for long-term maximum conductivity. Kits include the orange 6,500 rpm ignition control module, an advance curve kit, wire harness, ballast resistor, performance oil-filled ignition coil, and installation hardware kit. Order the model recommended for your vehicle.

Proform's Street/Strip HEI distributors have a variety of improvements over stock HEI distributors, such as a 50,000 V coil, a premium hi-dielectric cap with brass terminals, both upper and lower bushings for added durability, a low-saturation ignition module, and no voltage-reducing ballast resistors. These units offer calibrated advance curves that are optimized for maximum combustion efficiency, and the elimination of detonation damage and throttle ping. The distributors offer longer-term durability and a higher voltage spark that permits a bigger spark plug gap, resulting in more power and reduced plug fouling. The Ford models' internal coil and module make it possible for Blue Oval owners to avoid the unsightly wiring of stock Ford electronic ignitions. By eliminating the stock Ford or AMC ballast resistor, you'll get more ignition voltage, resulting in an improved spark. Another advantage to switching to HEI is access to easily-found HEI replacement parts. The Ford units are also assembled with upper and lower bushings, an upgrade from stock distributors that only have a single bushing. They're easy to install by connecting one 12 V hot wire to the distributor, making them a quick performance upgrade.

These MSD 2-step rev controllers coupled with MSD's digital 6AL ignition box let you choose from two different rpm limits that can be activated at different times. For example, you can use a lower-rpm setting for staging and then automatically switch to a higher-rpm setting after you release your trans-brake or line lock. The 2-Step is also digitally controlled and connects to the Digital 6AL's gray tach output wire. There are two easy to read rotary dials that let you set the launch rpm in 100 rpm increments from 2,000-11,800 rpm. There is an activation wire that connects to the transbrake, a clutch switch or to the line-lock to activate the low rpm limit. When that switch is released, the low rpm limit is turned off and the car launches hard!

The basic requirements for a properly running engine are fuel, air, compression, and spark. A weak spark from your ignition system can result in misfiring under high-load driving, and spark blow-out under high boost, which is bad for performance. Mishimoto ignition coils are high-quality replacements that can bring your vehicle up to Stage 0 before moving on to horsepower adding modifications. They are designed and tested to meet or exceed OEM performance standards and are available as a single coil or in sets. Once installed with a set of new spark plugs, you can expect a refreshed ignition system with improved engine startup, a smoother idle, and restored performance. The primary frame of Mishimoto coils is constructed from extremely robust phenolic resin, ensuring optimal longevity in high-temperature environments, while a precision lower rubber boot provides a barrier against moisture entry into the plug well, eliminating chances for spark plug contamination. Each coil is pre-lubricated with dielectric grease to prevent corrosion and ensure an optimal connection between the spark plug and coil. Swap out your worn or defective factory coils with Mishimoto's ignition coils, and as with all their products, the coils include their signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty. Choose the ones designed for your vehicle in the quantity needed.

Clayton Machine ignition coil covers stylishly hide the LS engine coil packs. Unlike the plastic or fiberglass versions, these covers are machined from 6063 T-6 aluminum and can be ordered in black or grey powdercoated finishes; they're also available unfinished so you can customize them to match your vehicle. The covers fit GM LS engines utilizing existing coil bracket mounting points, and are ideal for LS crate motors. (Unless a cutout is fabricated or aftermarket alternator and brackets are used, they will not clear factory high mount alternators, like those found on Corvettes.) Clayton Machine ignition coil covers can be used with relocated coil packs for a lower profile appearance, and are best suited for aftermarket serpentine pulley systems. Additionally, they're available with or without the oil fill hole.

For over 40 years, Cardone's innovative remanufacturing processes have provided a high-quality, lower-cost alternative to new replacement parts. It doesn't matter if your vehicle is vintage or fresh off of the dealer's lot--Cardone is your source for the highest quality remanufactured parts. Through "reverse-engineering" failed parts, their engineers see where, and why, they failed. They reengineer their remanufactured products, where applicable, to reinforce failure-prone areas for longer-lasting performance. Cardone remanufactured parts cost up to 50 percent less than new--especially true with late-model, high-tech products. Cardone restores used auto parts back to their original fit and function, using only about 20 percent of the energy and raw material needed to build a new part; so you not only save money, but you also help save our planet. Features of Cardone remanufactured distributors include: * All electronic module components are 100 percent computer-tested to ensure full functionality * Automated test equipment verifies signal strength, correct polarity of wire harness, air gap, and crank reluctor tooth size, as well as ignition coil and pickup performance * Cardone uses the right gear hardness for the appropriate application: if the gear is too hard, it will damage the cam; if it's too soft, the gear itself will be damaged, potentially causing severe engine damage (many offshore manufacturers use only one gear hardness) * OE components with consistently high failure rates are 100 percent replaced or repaired to meet or exceed OE performance * Precise machining tolerances prevent oil leakage, poor timing, the setting of the "Check Engine" light, and premature failure
