Denso Oxygen Sensors

Oxygen sensors, also known as Lambda sensors or O2 sensors, are among the most sensitive and critical components on your car's engine. They monitor the air/fuel mixture under idle, moderate acceleration, and cruise conditions. Oxygen sensors have a smaller range of limits in detecting and adjusting the difference from an optimum air/fuel ratio than the newer wide range air/fuel sensors (A/F sensors). Today's engines may use as many as four oxygen sensors to monitor exhaust gas oxygen content and catalytic converter efficiency. In order to perform these functions properly, Denso oxygen sensors adhere to strict OE standards within incredibly close tolerances. A malfunctioning or incorrectly calibrated oxygen sensor can hurt drivability and illuminate the check engine light, resulting in costly and time-consuming repairs. Denso First Time Fit oxygen sensors are designed to meet those tolerances and more. Key features and benefits of Denso Oxygen Sensors include: * Robotic laser welds * Porous PTFE filters block efficiency-robbing contaminants * Double-protection covers maintain proper temperature for quicker response times and protect ceramic elements from silicone and lead fouling * Rugged, watertight stainless steel housings resist corrosion and contamination * Aluminum oxide trap layers keep silicone and lead out, preventing damage to the platinum electrode * Refined zirconia elements improves sensor response * Superior design maximizes engine performance while reducing fuel consumption and harmful emissions * First Time Fit design delivers the right part the first time

Beck/Arnley Vehicle Speed Sensors

Replace your worn or malfunctioning vehicle speed sensor with one of these Beck/Arnley vehicle speed sensors. Depending upon your vehicle's equipment, the vehicle speed sensor commonly called a VSS may influence or control more systems than any other single sensor. Early model vehicle speed sensors were just used to regulate the cruise control and control transmission shifts. Now, with OBD-II, vehicle speed is considered a part of the overall engine operating strategies, affecting both fuel delivery and ignition timing. The operations of the idle-air-control valve and canister-purge cycle are regulated, in part, by the VSS. Automatic transmissions need VSS data to provide the best performance and mileage. Torque converter clutch operation is controlled by the VSS. In an electronically shifted transmission, VSS signals, instead of hydraulic pressure in the valve body, are used to determine shift points.

Holstein Parts Vehicle Speed Sensors

Vehicle speed sensors measure wheel speeds and provide this information to the vehicles ECU (Electronic Control Unit). The ECU then calculates ignition timing, transmission shift points, and air/fuel ratios for the vehicle. Data from the Vehicle Speed Sensor is also used in cruise control systems to maintain a constant speed. Holstein Parts focuses on using only the highest quality materials, manufactured to exacting standards for an aftermarket product that is truly built to match or exceed the OE part. Holstein Parts vehicle speed sensors line has superior coverage for domestic and import applications.
