Scott Drake offers Street/Strip HEI distributors for a wide range of applications, including many Ford and Mercury cars, trucks, and vans from the 1960s, '70s, and '80s. These units are designed for the enthusiast looking to replace outdated points or a stock distributor with a dependable high-energy ignition distributor. Converting to an HEI system makes installation and set-up easy. Just drop it in and connect two wires—it's that simple! This high performance distributor features a 50,000 V coil that delivers 2x the energy across the spark gap compared to a stock HEI distributor. It will fit all 1964-84 Ford 302 motors (will not fit 1985 and later 5.0L/302 roller engines, and will not clear stock air cleaners).
