Racepak flow meters provide accurate flow readings for both fuel and hydraulic clutch systems. These general purpose turbine-type flow meters, when used along with DataLink's math channel capabilities, allow you to monitor the health of your fuel pump, as well as confirm the function of your fuel system timers and system lean-outs. Also offered in low-flow versions, those designated as low-flow are recommended for carbureted applications and are calibrated in lbs./hr. unless otherwise noted. Monitoring and relaying the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) signals from each of your cylinders is done using components from three groups: the thermocouple which actually measures the exhaust temperature, the junction box which gathers the four thermocouple sensors on each cylinder bank into a group, and an EGT module that connects the two junction boxes to the Racepak sensor network. Racepak's Vehicle Network (V-Net) is a "smart data" transfer network able to transmit multiple signals from sensors over a single cable. The key to the V-Net system is the modular connectors that attach each of the devices to the main cable. For a function or component to be monitored on the V-Net, the signal from that device must pass through a sensor and its module (essentially a miniature computer) that identifies and retrieves only the proper incoming signals and allows other signals to pass through. The sensor measures the input from the function or device (i.e. rpm, pressure, temperature, etc.), while the module converts the signal so it can be transmitted over the V-Net. Racepak analog pre-programmed V-Net modules without sensors are analog function modules that have been programmed for general use, and have not been assigned to a specific task. Use of these modules on the V-Net cable requires the addition of a sensor and configuration of the module using DatalinkII software.

Racepak SmartWire kits are fully programmable power distribution modules, capable of controlling 30 outputs (on/off switching) and 12 inputs (switch-activated) on any type of 12–16 VAC systems. Fuses, relays, and solenoids are eliminated, instead controlled through solid-state switching inside the housing. Current outputs and switching inputs—along with a nearly unlimited variety of on-off switching functions—are user-programmable through the Racepak DataLink II software. Racepak SmartWire kits can operate in three different modes: * Stand Alone: Power from the battery is connected to the power stud of the SmartWire. Outputs to each device in the vehicle are connected to one of two 15-pin connectors; output currents and related requirements are programmed via connection of the SmartWire to the user's PC. Switching off and on of the devices is handled through inputs on the 15-pin connectors or optional SwitchPanel or SwitchModule. * In conjunction with Racepak V-Net sensors: Want to automatically turn on a radiator fan, but only when the water temperature is above 190 degrees? Racepak split collar and magnet assemblies provide mounting platforms for the magnets that trigger the sensor monitoring the revolutions of a shaft. They are typically used on rear-end yokes and couplers to deliver driveshaft rpm data. Racepak collars are available with either two or eight magnets. All Racepak V-Net systems must be equipped with a tee cable to install the two terminator caps (one male and one female) necessary for the operation of the system. Just like the ends on the V-Net cables, all V-Net tee cables and terminator caps are blue. Racepak interface modules can also use tee cables, but they are not required for the system to operate properly. Instead, they allow you to create a branch in the system. Black interface tee cables and dust caps are used for the purposes their names indicate. Racepak gauge tee cables are used to connect Intelli-Gauges to a V-Net cable. After the first gauge, each subsequent gauge is connected with a gauge-to-gauge jumper cable.
