They're made for general service on light trucks and passenger cars. The ultra-durable hoses are constructed using all EPDM compounds, with spiral reinforcement for high burst strength and heat resistance of -40 degrees F (-40 degrees C) to +257 degrees F (+125 degrees C). These black cover hoses are similar to the SAE 20R3, Class D-2, and are specifically designed to be compatible with all common coolants and coolant additives. However, they are not suitable for fuel or oil transfer. Dayco heater hoses are available in a variety of diameters and lengths.
