Or choose from exhaust parts such as the individual pipes, tubes, flanges, and turndowns you need for a custom setup, plus replacement or performance mufflers from mellow to aggressive, and even catalytic converters to keep you legal.
Summit Racing™ vacuum activated switches are conveniently offered as an optional choice for our manual 700R4 hydraulic lockup kit, or as a replacement for the automatic version. The adjustable vacuum switch will hold the clutch on during steady state cruising and disengage when accelerating or downshifting. The switches are factory preset at 13 in. Hg.

They are designed to withstand the harshest conditions imaginable underneath your car with bodies built from ceramic coated stainless steel that use a vacuum-actuated turbocharger wastegate actuator to open and close the blade. They function in high-heat environments and have been proven to work at temperatures as high as 2,000 degrees. Summit Racing™ kits bolt to existing 3-bolt flanges or will require fabrication to accommodate them, as would any other cutout kit. They can be opened and closed from inside the cockpit with an included "rocker switch" and will work on any car that has vacuum assisted brakes. Even better, because they are vacuum-operated, there is no routing of wires and electric motors around hot exhaust pipes--just a simple vacuum line. GFB's DV+ solution couldn't be simpler: keep what works and replace what doesn't. GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles. The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great—the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve, so why replace it? The weak point, however, is the valve mechanism itself. GFB's DV+ solves this problem by replacing the valve parts with an anodized billet aluminum housing, fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances. The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Other manufacturers' products involve replacing the entire system with a traditional pneumatic valve, or include a solenoid valve with the diverter. These approaches add unnecessary cost and additional parts (in some cases requiring long vacuum hose runs, mounting brackets, etc.). All these additional items result in a product that is slower, less responsive, more expensive, and takes longer to install. GFB's DV+ solution, on the other hand, is more responsive, less expensive, easier to install, and doesn't cause compressor surge/turbo flutter. If your original parts are bad, they will be unable to sense the increase in the intake manifold vacuum and may cause damage to the cylinder head, pistons, and cylinder bores.
