Varying with the application, Flowtech headers are constructed from sturdy and lightweight cold-rolled mild steel or stainless steel for increased strength and durability. All tubing is mandrel-bent to provide consistent tubing diameter for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity. Extra-thick, machined header flanges provide a leak-free seal and maximum strength. They provide a secondary retaining device that will ensure that the attached collectors remain attached if the primary retaining device (most often a bolt or tab) fails. The systems allow racers to freely and easily change collectors at any time and are universal to fit a variety of applications.
