Hooker Super Competition sidemount headers and mufflers deliver the most aggressive style and performance for your early Corvette, Camaro, Nova, or Firebird. Sidemount headers are built from lightweight 18-gauge tubing. Sidetubes slip directly into the collector for a leak-free seal. They are available in your choice of three finishes: Show quality chrome, high heat-resistant black paint, and metallic ceramic coating. The replaceable mufflers are available separately in two different styles: glasspack and reverse flow. The glasspack style provides the highest performance with minimal backpressure and sound control, while the reverse flow is designed for maximum sound control. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

Hooker LS turbo exhaust manifolds allow a simpler way to add a turbo to your muscle car. Made from high-silicon-moly ductile iron, these manifolds are much more durable and retain more heat than fabricated headers. The manifold kits include stainless steel V-band clamps and flanges, heater hose heat shield, and header bolts. A turbo crossover tube is used to connect the two manifolds (sold separately). Hooker LS turbo exhaust manifolds are offered for driver and passenger side individually or as a set—and they work with most common LS swap parts (i.e. motor mounts, swap oil pan, and accessory drive systems) to provide the basic building blocks needed to complete a custom turbo system for your GM LS engine.

All tubing is mandrel-bent to provide consistent tubing diameter for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity. Extra-thick, machined header flanges provide a leak-free seal and maximum strength. For long-term rust and corrosion-resistance, available finishes include natural and polished stainless steel, high heat-resistant black paint, or a satin silver metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating. All mounting hardware and premium gaskets are included. Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. The mufflers are easily removed for racing purposes, and are available in a performance-style glasspack or in a quieter, all-metal, reverse flow-style. They produce an average of 23 percent more power than open headers, and feature a high-flow, perforated core that operates at 99 percent efficiency. High-temperature packing material absorbs noise while producing a powerful, mellow sound. The outer case is constructed of durable 16-gauge aluminized steel and protected by electrostatically applied high-temperature black paint. The inlet and outlet are 2.5 in. perforated cores in a 4 in. casing.
