Our Summit Performance® headers are manufactured from mandrel-bent tubing for superior flow and greater horsepower. The headers feature a pressure-formed collector for a better flow rate and a JIG-welded tube-to-flange plate for a perfect fit. They're made for off-road and racing use only. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom-altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Doug's Headers has long been recognized of as one of the premiere exhaust header manufacturers in the performance industry. Since1958, they have been producing high-quality, hand-built, mandrel-bent exhaust headers. Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Their designs include mid-length headers, Tri-Y headers, and long tube headers, plus manifold replacement headers. MagnaFlow Universal Catalytic Converters
MagnaFlow universal catalytic converters by Car Sound form the basic building blocks for many applications. The main benefit of universal catalytic converters is that one unit may cover a wide variety of vehicle makes and models. Installing universal converters often requires the use of welding, cutting, and tube-bending equipment that is readily available to most professional installers. They are extremely well made, with features such as: * A ribbed body that minimizes expansion and distortion when the converter heats up. They form a channel that protects the cushioning mat from direct exposure to exhaust gasses, and hold the ceramic catalyst in proper alignment. * A 1/2 in. lap joint where the necks meet the body. The neck does not extend into the converter body, where it could hamper exhaust flow. * Manufactured with separate dies on different sized inlets. Putting larger neck sizes on smaller bodies would reduce the flow of the converter and the quality of the product. * A monolithic honeycomb catalyst. The ceramic is designed for maximum flow and surface area. The coating method is strictly controlled to maintain exact specifications. * Seam-welded close to the converter body for a strong, tight bond.
