Whether you're building a tow rig, race truck, or just want to keep your daily driver on the road for the long haul, you need to upgrade your head bolts with Gator Fasteners heavy-duty head stud kits. Gator head studs have a much higher strength and will not stretch like the factory bolts, helping to keep your truck from popping head gaskets. Designed for stock to moderately built engines. Gator studs are manufactured with 8740 material with an added proprietary element and black oxide finished. They are rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength, providing the clamping force required to keep cylinder heads from lifting due to higher combustion pressures.
