PowerBond Race performance harmonic balancers bring the advantages of bonded balancers to high-revving and high-horsepower street/race applications where an SFI-approved balancer is required. They have been tested beyond 21,000 rpm without failure, and every balancer features a precision CNC-machined AISI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring. They are very light and in most cases, they are only marginally heavier than the original cast iron balancer. The steel inertia ring on the Race Series models is positively protected against forward and backward movement. PowerBond uses our Race Series high-pressure, low-cure that features a natural rubber developed in our laboratory. Every model has easy to read computer etched timing marks and meet SFI specification 18.1.

King HP-Series rod bearings were developed mainly for drag race applications needing a material harder than the Babbitt top layer. These applications demanded a structure that could withstand high loads for short durations and still offer higher embeddability and compatibility. In response, King developed the HP-Series, featuring the Alecular metal structure. The HP-Series is also suited for many performance applications with nodular cast iron crankshafts, such as street, strip, and some levels of Circle Track racing. Order the set recommended for your vehicle. HP-Series bearings are particularly suitable for the following cases: * When a tri-metal bearing's Babbitt overlay extrudes over the sides, migrates to one end, or is physically removed by the crankshaft * When the intermediate layer of a tri-metal bearing is exposed, damaging the crank journal and requiring expensive grinding or replacement * When contaminants enter the oil stream, scratching and damaging the crankshaft journals

Built with enhanced tri-metal, King XP-Series main bearings have a layered copper lead construction, with a nickel plate barrier and lead/tin/copper Babbitt overlay over a steel backing--in an adhesion process that provides superior stability and durability. King's advanced control measures hit a bull's-eye, maintaining wall thickness tolerances far tighter than their competitors: an amazing +/- .0001 in. The XP-Series main bearings are narrowed for large radii crankshafts and feature enlarged, chamfered oil holes with full, 3/4 in., or 1/2 in. grooving for improved oiling. They deliver consistent and reliable performance with a high-load capacity. These race-only Xtreme Performance (XP-Series) Tri-Lecular main bearings are proven track-tough to handle the ground-shaking power of your race engine. Hundreds of sets are available; order the bearings recommended for your vehicle.

Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Final prototype testing also included a 9-month beta testing program in collaboration with various road racers, drag racers, and drifters. The CCS's design maximizes air-oil separation efficiency, resulting in a peak separation efficiency of 85 to 90 percent. For comparison, none of the competitor's catch cans tested showed a peak efficiency of more than 60 percent. The CCS oil catch cans are durable, made from high-quality, reliable components and, as with any Improved Racing product, nothing will vibrate loose or come apart under racing conditions. Keep contaminants out of your intake to increase octane and keep your engine clean with Improved Racing CCS oil catch can kits. Select the kit specifically designed for your application needs. Product details: * The CCS features tangential entry port for cyclonic separation for maximized efficiency—separates as much vapor from crankcase blow-by fumes as possible with minimal restriction * Other features include stainless steel filter with multiple filter seals, primary seal, bell mouth exit plenum, anti-splash-back funnel with spiral drain groves, and 7.0 fluid oz. or 3.5 fluid oz. reservoir * Quick-turn, easy to service reservoir * Includes mounting bracket and custom made, emissions friendly, quick-connect lines—designed specifically for factory supercharged vehicles * CNC-machined aluminum bracket locks into position every 22.5 degrees—allows for different mounting options specific per the make and model vehicle to offset catch can from engine to clear larger engine covers, evap lines, etc. * Optional drain kit (sold separately) is available to allow for remote draining without removing the catch can—because engine bay fitment is tight on specific vehicles * Fast and flexible mounting bracket system for installation/removal and positioning—tool-free bracket nut can be removed without tools, or snug it down with 5/8 in. wrench * No sight glass needed—just push-up and twist a 1/8th turn to remove the reservoir and look inside, no more fumbling, or endless unscrewing to remove the reservoir * A powerful wave spring keeps the reservoir locked in place—included positive safety lock clip is also included just in case you want to be absolutely sure the reservoir cannot be removed

Melling timing chain sets are designed for use with either performance or stock cams. They have a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets, eliminating chain stretch. The crank gears are machined from stress-proof steel. Most Melling timing chain sets have three keyways to ensure accurate timing for early or late model vehicles, and to allow you to set the cam timing at 4 degrees advanced, 4 degrees retarded, or stock. However, 50-state (stock replacement) sets have single keyways. The chains are available in several styles, such as single or double roller, single non-roller, and link belt. Melling timing chain sets are not for use above 6,500 rpm. Order the model designed for your vehicle application.

Using only three parts (a laser-welded sealed housing, an internal inertia ring, and highly viscous silicone fluid between the two), SFI-approved Fluidampr harmonic dampers can control all crankshaft vibration--not just a limited frequency range. As a result, you get reduced wear on the main bearings and timing gear, more stable valvetrain operation, and less chance of crank failure.

King HP-Series cam bearings are precision-machined to tight tolerances to control installed oil clearances, reducing operating bearing pressure. These cam bearings are constructed from seamless steel tubing with a thin layer of lead based babbit material to reduce microscopic deflections. The babbit is quickly cooled in the casting process to achieve a very fine grain structure, doubling tensile strength, therefore, the HP-Series offers much more fatigue strength than conventional bearings, and can withstand racing spring loads, while maintaining the excellent surface characteristics of babbit. King also offers HP-Series bearings with a fluoropolymer coating. Bearings with this coating retain engine oil on the surface, even under extreme heat and pressure—a great advantage! Plus, being a lubricant, it provides backup during start-up and in the event of momentary oil starvation. Use track-tough King HP-Series cam bearings in your engine—and experience the difference.

Clevite P-Series main bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 bearing family and are intended for high-revving engines. To compensate for the high-load factors and distortion in these engines, these bearings have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are constructed of tri-metal cast copper lead. They have a steel back for support, a cast copper lead lining to withstand the loads of engine operation, and an electroplated babbit overlay on the running surface to provide searing surface qualities. In addition, the oil grooves on most applications extend all the way around both halves for better oiling. Clevite P-Series main bearings are an ideal design, producing a degree of conformability, embedability, slipperiness, and fatigue resistance, not found in original equipment and competitive bimetal bearings.
