A great piston starts with a great 2618 forging. Forged Pro piston forgings are stronger AND lighter. This makes more power AND takes stress off the crank, rods and block at higher rpm. You may have heard of gas ported pistons in high-end racing engines. Summit Racing™ Pro GPX gas ported rings add this performance to ANY non-gas ported (or even gas-ported) piston.
