Boss 302 blocks are available in standard and Big Bore versions that support engine sizes up to 363 c.i.d. Howards Cams extreme billet main caps are precision CNC-machined from superior-quality low-carbon 1020 billet material. They come available as stock replacements (straight bolt) or with splayed outer bolt holes. The splayed caps feature 10 degree angled outer holes to positively reinforce and tie the block together. Front, rear and center caps are all available. Use all the Howards Cams caps together for the ultimate in bottom-end stress and flex management. Howards Cams main caps feature side notches for easy removal and are proudly 100 percent manufactured in the USA. Line boring is required after installation.

Derale LS engine oil cooler block-off adapters can replace your stock GM adapter in order to furnish more 1/8 in. NPT ports. The two extra ports can be used for additional accessories and/or sensors. Improved Racing oil cooler adapters have a low-profile for more header clearance. The adapters are machined from a single piece of billet aluminum and black anodized. For additional clearance with reliable sealing, they come with aluminum gaskets fitted with Viton® seals, and the adapter mounting holes are counter-bored so the mounting bolts fit flush with the adapter surface. Select Improved Racing oil cooler adapters are also available with a built-in thermostat. Oil coolers help prevent the oil from getting too hot, but are also prone to lowering oil temperatures too much, especially in colder weather or during highway driving. The rebuildable thermostat speeds warm-up and helps reduce engine wear and horsepower losses by preventing oil temperatures from dropping below optimal levels. S&S Cycle Super Stock alternator-style crankcases are perfect for stock replacement and high performance applications. Available in stock and different bore sizes, some are machined for the installation of a crank position sensor, but all are compatible with stock flywheel assemblies, primary covers, gear covers, and are clearanced for 38 amp alternator stators. Certain options may include the required hardware, fittings, and bearings, and may be offered in different finishes.
