The lifter bodies are fully machined from alloy steel bar stock and are completely micro-polished. The nose wheels are machined from 8620 material and the cases are hardened for durability. Howards Cams ProMax direct lube mechanical roller lifters feature "Full Time" high pressure oiling to the roller bearing shafts. This continuous oiling offers higher rpm and high spring pressure capabilities. ProMax lifters feature lightened steel alloy bodies with a special enhanced finish and heat-treated stainless steel link bars. The case-hardened 8620 rollers are fitted with the best alloy bearings and pins. These are the same materials and designs used on most Top Fuel lifters. The .300 in. taller body allows these lifters to fit early, late model, and aftermarket locks. Howards Cams ProMax direct lube mechanical roller lifters are also fully rebuildable.

Howards Cams rev kits are designed for roller cam applications to increase valvetrain stability throughout the rpm range. In addition to increasing rpm capabilities, these rev kits will also keep the lifter in the lifter bore in the event of valvetrain failure. The locator bars and lifter buttons are made of the highest quality aluminum and are then anodized for protection. Each of these kits comes complete with locator bars, springs, and lifter buttons.

Howards Cams swedged end pushrods are engineered for maximum strength and durability. Produced from seamless 4130 chromoly aircraft tubing, each tube is through-hardened to a depth of .010 in. to .015 in. These pushrods are mirror-polished to eliminate the possibility of stress fractures and are finished in black oxide. Strong but light, they are well suited for roller applications. These pushrods are packed in a unique protective storage case.

These Extreme Black Severe Application valves by Howards Cams are engineered for high-rpm and high-horsepower applications. They feature a gloss black nitride finish and are perfect for high temperatures (they run cooler, which improves valve life), nitrous, turbo, and supercharger applications. These valves will give naturally aspirated motors a much greater cylinder flow for good horsepower gains. These valves start off as a one-piece forged high-temperature, high-nickel, stainless steel alloy. They're CNC-finished to strict tolerances, making them the choice for the most demanding race classes. Their black nitride micro-hardness is higher than the stainless steel base material. No process can match it for surface hardness! The surface finish is smoother than with chromed stems, having less friction between the stem and the guide. The black nitride reduces power loss due to there being less valve-guide friction.
