The primary material used for AutoTec pistons is 4032 high-silicone aluminum alloy which is extremely durable, has great wear resistance, a low expansion rate, and is very low in friction. The most common applications for AutoTec pistons include muscle car restorations, performance street rods, as well as many spec racing classes.
