PowerBond Race performance harmonic balancers bring the advantages of bonded balancers to high-revving and high-horsepower street/race applications where an SFI-approved balancer is required. They have been tested beyond 21,000 rpm without failure, and every balancer features a precision CNC-machined AISI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring. They are very light and in most cases, they are only marginally heavier than the original cast iron balancer. The steel inertia ring on the Race Series models is positively protected against forward and backward movement. PowerBond uses our Race Series high-pressure, low-cure that features a natural rubber developed in our laboratory. Manley lightweight dual drag race valve springs offer exceptional strength and performance, while reducing weight and promoting higher revs. These springs are manufactured from super-clean, high-tensile chrome silicon steel and are shot-peened to MIL specs for maximum fatigue life. They feature proprietary, multi-step heat-treating that minimizes load loss and have computer-aided modeling to minimize valve bounce and valve gear separation. Manley valve springs are smaller in diameter with a lightweight dual design, allowing engines to rev higher faster, and with better valvetrain control. An extended tip thickness is designed to eliminate overload breakage, and their tightly controlled open-end flatness reduces valve stem side loading. It's amazing to think that a tenth of a second can make any difference, but racers win or lose sometimes by thousandths. Rather than find ways around the recent advances in GM engine technology, the engineers at COMP Cams have found a way to work with the innovations to produce a powerful line of cams for newer L92 engines. These COMP Cams XFI SPR GM Gen IV VVT camshafts feature four unique cam grinds that provide substantial gains in both torque and horsepower. The 2007 and later GM L92 engines utilize Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology, which changes the timing of the valves while the engine is in operation. VVT is controlled via cam phasers, which are computer-controlled cam gears that automatically optimize camshaft timing based on current engine rpm. While this technology provides tremendous efficiency benefits, it presents a challenge when designing performance camshafts. This is due to the wide range of the valve timing movement, which causes piston-to-valve clearance. Using the COMP Cams cam phaser limiter kit restricts the range of cam timing movement from 50 degrees to 20 degrees. While still utilizing the efficiency benefits of the VVT technology, this modification provides the necessary valve clearance for larger, more serious performance camshafts with tighter lobe separations.

Revolutionary COMP Cams XFI AFM GM Gen V camshafts are designed to work with the direct-injection, VVT (variable valve timing), and AFM (active fuel management) lifters featured in GM's Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) V8 engine. They feature four different lobe profiles to both create AFM compatibility and optimize intake and exhaust valve opening/closing events. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts utilize Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology to maximize power and performance in stock and street/strip applications. The new Hemi engines from Chrysler are great power plants straight from the factory, with technology that allows the camshafts to move in real time. Instead of scrapping this advanced system, COMP Cams has embraced it with a new line of aftermarket Hemi-specific cams. The patent-pending Hemi phaser camshafts work with phaser limiters or locks to fully utilize Chrysler's Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology, which allows them to pick up torque in the low end of the engine, while maintaining power up high. Made from a billet core, these hydraulic roller cams are engineered tough enough to handle 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi street/strip engines. Their unique, no-springs-required design maintains piston-to-valve clearance, while enabling high performance lobes utilizing VVT, making them perfect for late model Dodge Challengers, Dodge Chargers, Chrysler 300s, Jeeps, Dodge trucks, and Mopar crate engines with VVT. COMP Cams Chrysler Hemi phaser camshafts are available as both custom and three different off-the-shelf grinds, dependent upon engine type, for improved performance over OEM options. They will require the COMP Cams phaser limiter or lock kits to limit the degree of maximum cam phasing to 14 crank degrees (7 cam degrees) and they are available separately.

COMP Cams Godzilla hydraulic roller camshaft upgrades are designed to provide amazing drivability and throttle response, while producing increased torque across the entire RPM range with a significant horsepower bump with minimal effort. They're available in three distinct models: * Stage 1 NSR/NTR model: Utilizes the full phaser sweep for excellent mileage and optimized performance, without compromising durability. They requires no adjustment to the factory cam phasing or ignition timing without the need for a limiter. However, minimal ECU tuning may be required to meet the maximum potential. Testing with an optimized tune resulted in over 60 hp and 15 lbs.-ft. over stock with a much broader torque curve—impressive gains with minimal effort and zero compromise. * Stage 2 NSR model: Maintaining use of the phaser with a limiter kit allows these camshafts to also produce incredible horsepower. They offer maximum torque in the low- to mid-range for heavy vehicles and towing. Stage 2 cams deliver an increase of over 75 lbs.-ft. of torque at 3,000 rpm! They require a phaser limiter (P/N 5473). Testing with the phaser limiter kit resulted in gains of more than 75 hp over stock. One look at the torque curve produced by this camshaft will have your tires crying for mercy. * Stage 3 model: Godzilla Stage 3 camshafts are made for crate engines and engine swaps into lighter vehicles and those seeking maximum horsepower while still utilizing the phaser with a limiter kit. These cams bring the exhaust note that is worthy of the Godzilla name. They will produce well over 600 hp on pump gas! Awesome power can be expected, from 5,000 to 6,700 rpm with the valve spring kit (P/N 7230GCS-KIT) and a phaser limiter (P/N 5473). Testing with the phaser limiter kit resulted in gains of nearly 100 hp and 25 lbs.-ft. over stock. This much horsepower will make even Godzilla fly.
