Piston rings from CP Pistons offer a steel compression top ring that has been gas nitrided. The second ring is cast iron with a taper hook groove face, which acts as a wiper and pushes the oil back away from the combustion chamber. The oil rings are made up of two gas nitrided rails with a low-tension expander.
