Improved Racing Performance Windage Trays
Improved Racing offers performance aluminum windage trays for a variety of LS family engine applications. They are direct bolt-on replacements for the factory trays that clear up to a 4 in. stroke and work with both factory studs and ARP studs. These windage trays are 100 percent bolt-on compatible with factory LS oil pans. No need to grind, modify, or add spacers to your windage tray—and no more oil starvation issues due to misaligned pickup tubes. Just bolt on the new unit and everything will line up like factory! Improved Racing designed these windage trays to maximize oil drainage while optimizing windage control. Made from aluminum, they weigh less than half as much as the steel factory tray for a weight savings of approximately 1.4 lbs. Order the model recommended for your vehicle. Melling High-Volume Oil Pumps
Melling high-volume oil pumps give you an additional 20 to 25 percent of much-needed oil volume for your performance application. For those of you who need added pressure, many pumps are supplied with a high-pressure spring (where noted). The pumps are built using a proprietary casting process, which yields maximum performance and reliability. Every Melling oil pump is completely pressure-tested, including idle and bypass pressure, before it leaves the factory. Our stamped steel Circle Track oil pans feature deep kickout sumps and up to a 7 qt. oil capacity. For better oil control, we gave them six swinging trap doors and a passenger side pickup location. They're available in two finishes.
