Clevite engine bearings have helped power every single NASCAR champion since 1948 to Victory Lane, setting the pace for quality and reliability in the most demanding of settings. Their V-Series main bearings typically have low to medium eccentricity and a hardened steel back with a high crush for better seating and retention. They also do not have flash plating on the steel back to provide better dimensional accuracy and bore contact, using a lead-indium overlay which offers better conformability than lead-tin copper overlay with slightly reduced wear resistance. Built on un-plated, hardened-steel backings for better dimensional accuracy and bore contact, they have low-to-medium eccentricity. The biggest difference between V-Series and other Clevite 77 bearings is their lead-indium surface alloy, which gives them that extra conformability. V-Series bearings are available in narrower versions to provide greater crank-fillet clearance, as well as in extra-clearance variations that provide an additional 0.001 or 0.002 in. of clearance.

These H-Series bearings feature Clevite's exclusive TriArmor coating, the industry's only moly/graphite treatment. They are also offered as low-friction, roller camshaft bearings that only require oil "splash" lubrication.
