Building a fully hydraulic steering system can be quite a project. Thankfully, Trail-Gear has taken all of the guesswork out of the process with these complete, user-friendly hydraulic steering kits! Everything you will need is included, such as mounting brackets specifically designed for Toyota apps. The steering pump has an all-steel housing and emits 4.5 gpm of flow and 1,650 psi of pressure. Each high-pressure hose is steel-braided with crimped-on ends. These kits are available in 6, 8, and 10 in. ram sizes, and are ideal for use with links and most leaf spring applications. Trail-Gear Samurai high steer kits are specifically engineered to work with stock Samurai axles--and they're a must-have for a "spring over axle" setup. They include solid-forged 8620 steel steering arms, a heavy-duty 1 1/4 in. x .250 in. wall DOM drag link and tie rod, FJ80 tie rod ends, and all necessary hardware. The steering linkage is a crucial part of the steering system, connecting the front wheels and enabling them to move in a functional way. Given the importance of the steering linkage, it is critical that all cars are fitted with high-quality TRW parts. TRW tie rod ends use a 2-seat design as standard, which means that there is no need for a spring, which will extend the life of the parts. TRW offers tie rods for a wide range of vehicles and applications.
