Designed to stop shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering, the extra support of these braces will also help prevent shock tower stress cracks. Monte Carlo bars are copied from the original design and feature thicker diameter tube, plus improved fender brackets. Scott Drake has stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower-profile carriage bolts. You may choose options of curved or straight in steel construction—and a choice of finishes, or stainless steel. They also offer curved race versions that feature .975 in. diameter tubing and are equipped with Heim joints for smoother operation. Mount your lower control arms using heavy-duty replacement brackets from Artec Industries. They're made from 1/4 in. in. thick steel plate for strength and have grease fitting access on top to allow easy maintenance of your joint. The brackets have a 2.625 in. mounting width with 9/16 in. bolt hole for common sized style cartridge joints. The skid plate on the bottom of each bracket wraps around the joint, protecting it from direct impact and decreasing premature wear; this skid plate design does not restrict movement of the joint. Tapered sides allow the Artec lower control arm brackets to be mounted at an angle on the frame without excess material hanging off the side. Choose the style needed to mount front or rear control arms on your specific vehicle.

These brackets are for use with RockKrawler Krawler joints that have a 2.325 in. mounting width and a hole size of 9/16 in. They are machined from 3/16 in. thick steel and are CNC-bent for precision. These brackets do require welding, and if so desired, may be painted. Each rear frame bracket welds between the two factory crossmembers above the driveshaft and is intended for use with a RockKrawler X-Factor rear 3-link upper control arm.

Upgrade your tunnel brace to improve rigidity and increase clearance to fit larger exhaust systems. Factory stamped steel tunnel braces unfortunately leave much to be desired. APR has redesigned these 6061 aluminum braces to sit slightly lower in the tunnel to allow for larger exhaust tubing.
