EPAS Performance electric power steering kits provide modern power steering for your classic car. These performance systems are available to outfit a wide range of vintage and classic vehicles from 1920-1980. An easy step-by-step installation manual is available online for each of the kits that EPAS offers. There is no major or irreversible modifications made to your vehicle, as everything is located under your dash and is almost, if not completely, invisible. How the systems work: The computer measures the amount of effort on the steering wheel and amplifies it with the aid of the electric motor. A potentiometer allows you to have more or less assistance, so you can adjust the amount of power assist. RideTech StreetGrip composite leaf springs offer 50 lb. weight savings in unsprung weight to improve handling and ride quality. These suspension springs also incorporate more torsional strength—so any "spring wrap" is diminished. The billet leaf spring eyelets help achieve the desired stance. Aldan American Road Comp suspension packages are available for a variety of applications, including many GM muscle cars and 1990s era Chevy trucks. Their coilovers are machined from lightweight, high-strength 6061 T-6 billet aluminum. They are fully ride-height adjustable, allowing a stock height to 2.0 in. of lowering, for maximum performance and on-road comfort. The coilover kits are designed for an OEM-like fitment using factory shock and spring mounting locations. These coilovers can be used with factory or aftermarket tubular control arms.
