Trail-Gear Power Flow power steering pump upgrade kits remedy a common flaw in Toyota trucks. The stock pump is just barely able to supply the volume and pressure needed to run hydraulic-assist steering—putting out 1,300 psi at only one gallon per minute. The original pump is not able to provide enough fluid to run both the stock steering and the demands of a ram, especially at low rpm. Drilling out the restrictor plates in a stock pump for more volume often leads to pump failure. The answer is a replacement "TC" style pump. This provides the full fluid volume your steering box and ram are looking for, even at idle. These kits include a 1,650 psi pump, pump bracket, reservoir, reservoir bracket, belt, fittings, hoses, and hardware. The pump kits are designed to work with stock or ram drilled IFS power steering boxes. Additional notes: * The pump and bracket are designed to fit all Toyota 4-cylinder 4WD motors from 1979-95 * A large power steering fluid cooler (included) is required on the low-pressure side of the system * Pump bracket works in conjunction with stock idler bracket * If your truck is not currently equipped with power steering, you will need to purchase the idler bracket and replace the steering gearbox with one designed for use with power steering * The stock fan belt will not work with this pump and will need to be replaced with a Napa 9430 belt. Belt is included with kit. * Note: Never use ATF fluid or a semi-synthetic blend. This will void the warranty. It's okay to use standard power steering fluid or a full synthetic.

Trail-Gear universal heavy-duty hydro assist ram kits feature a heavy-duty single-ended hydraulic ram in your choice of 6 in. or 8 in. stroke. Trail-Gear's specially designed ram features a 1 1/8 in. rod for maximum strength and a 2 1/4 in. diameter bore for maximum steering force. The provided mounting brackets in kit have fitments made from 1/4 in. thick-formed steel. The specially formed brackets fit most applications to make installation a breeze, however, do take note some applications may require additional cutting and/or grinding. Hardware, JIC hoses, and steering box fittings are included. Trail-Gear recommends a 6 in. stroke for most Toyota applications and a 8 in. stroke for Dana applications. Important Note: Use only standard power steering fluid with this product. The use of ATF fluid, semi-synthetic fluid, or full synthetic fluid not recommended and void the warranty. Additional components required: high steer kit, steering box drilled and tapped for hydro assist.

Replacement bushings designed to fit Trail-Gear leaf springs are made of polyurethane to slide over the bolt smoothly with just the right amount of give to prevent your fittings from falling out when you're greasing up. Polyurethane is harder and stronger than rubber for durability and ride quality. Restore positive handling and control with Trail-Gear bushings. (Note: Make sure the grease you use is compatible with polyurethane.)

Trail-Gear creeper joint kits weld on, and are super strong to take on years of punishment—successfully. Each TG kit features an 8620 tool steel inner flex ball, high-quality polyurethane bushings, and heavy-duty, hardened steel washers to hold the joint together. They're offered in three different flex ball sizes: 9/16 in., 5/8 in., and 18mm, allowing you to choose the right size to match your application. With all kits, the flex ball is drilled for cross lubrication flow from the shell to the link mount bolt. Creeper joints are extremely flexible and allow for up to 40 degrees of movement when used with spacers. A threaded grease fitting is provided on the housing for lubrication. Trail-Gear weld-on creeper joint kits are provided unassembled, and are ideal for today's flexible suspension systems—as well as being perfect for creating your own A-arms, suspension links, or other suspension components.

Trail-Gear creeper joints are also available in a shackle mount for use with leaf springs. Using a creeper joint on the shackle end of a leaf spring reduces spring binding and increases suspension flex. Creeper joint shackle mounts are sold in pairs and do not include the shackles, bolts, or spring bushings. Three different flex ball dimensions (9/16 in., 5/8 in., and 18mm) enable you to choose the right size to match your application. Additional details: * The outer shell is a single forged piece * The inner flex ball is made from 8620 tool steel and rides on high-quality polyurethane bushings * Heavy-duty, hardened steel washers hold the joint together * Allows for up to 40 degrees of movement when used with spacers * A threaded grease fitting is provided on top for lubrication * The flex ball is drilled for cross-lubrication flow from the shell to the link mount bolt * Toyota Pickup and 4Runner use 18mm size

Trail-Gear steering control valves function as orbital load reactive valves. These valves sense external forces placed on the system via the ram and react to them. If your steering and axle calculations are correct, the wheels will return to center. The ram you use with your orbital will determine the number of turns it takes to get from lock to lock.
